All-Star MVP

Skip Bayless believes there is a Nike conspiracy that caused LeBron James to win the All-Star game MVP. Bayless, a member of the ESPN Cold Pizza crew, thinks the MVP should have been Dwayne Wade. Perhaps, Wade should have been the MVP. However, LeBron outscored Wade (29-20) and that is usually the determining factor in awarding the MVP. If the West had won, Tracy McGrady would have gone home with the hardware. He had 36, 21 more than the West's 2nd leading scorer, Tim Duncan. Plus, McGrady was playing in his "home town" of Houston, as he is now a member of the Rockets. Leading scorer in your town gives you a lock, if your team wins. Bayless' conspiracy theory might hold water if any logical thought was given to the award. Unfortunately, it's all about superficial stats. Thinking people were conspiring gives them way too much credit. That is what the judges did in the Rising Stars Slam Dunk Contest to squawk Andre Iguodala.
